Part 1 - Create a workflow and configure data sanitization

  1. Login to Metadefender.
  2. Click “Policies” from the menu options and select “Analysis workflows”.
  3. Click “Add a New Workflow”.
  4. Enter a name for the Workflow and click “Add”.
  5. Select the “Edit” icon for the newly created workflow.
  6. Click OK in the “Modify workflow” window.
  7. Select the “Data Sanitization” tab.
  8. Select the files to be sanitized.
  9. Click “OK”

Part 2 - Create an apply a security rule to the workflow

  1. 1.Login to Metadefender.
  2. Go to Policies and select "Security Rules".
  3. 1.Click “Add New Rule”.
  4. Enter a name for the rule.
  5. From the workflow drop-down menu, select the workflow created in Part 1.
  6. Select "All" from the Zone drop-down menu.
  7. In the LIMIT TO SPECIFIED USER AGENTS field, enter "Primeshare".
  8. Click Add.
